The Montessori approach at Karter Schools of South Riding is exceptional. It provides a stimulating environment for our daughter to learn and explore.  Our daughter enjoys the activities and enrichment sessions, including yoga and Mandarin classes. We receive regular updates with pictures and videos throughout the day and we love them. It has been a joy to watch her grow and thrive. The Karter School teachers and staff are fantastic! After touring many daycares in the area, we're super happy our friends recommended Karter.  We didn't think it was possible, but our daughter finally ask to stay in school rather then go home yesterday.  This is all thanks to the outstanding staff and teachers at the South Riding location. Karter School of South Riding has been wonderful. We chose Karter for our 2 daughters because of how warm, and family oriented the staff is. The cleanliness in the school is unmatched and we also enjoy the smaller size of the school - feels more personal. We've used Karter for pre-school, after school care/pick up and summer camp. They make everything so convenient.

The teachers and staff are incredible, trustworthy and attentive. I feel at peace on a daily basis knowing my kids are in the best hands. Ms. Gianna, Ms. Katie, Ms. Dalila, Ms. Deanna, Ms. Navodi, and team - THANK YOU! <3

Minor detail but very important note that my family and I appreciate is we've noticed that our kids haven't come home as sick and as often in comparison to family/friends' kids. I found Karter schools a great place for my son. Everything is great here from friendly environment with nice attitude staff and teachers to fun and educational programs for the young children. Its communication tools is fantastic. I get several updates of my son activities with text, video and photos on the App. My son found this school a fun place.One thing I noticed after taking my son to the Karter School, he is so independent in doing his daily chores like putting on his cloths. Karter School of South Riding has fostered an environment where you know the teachers and staff care, my two kids enjoy learning, and feel safe. This puts my mind at ease knowing they are well taken care of by professional, passionate, and personable staff. We enrolled our kids in Karter School of South Riding in January and have had a very positive experience so far. Not only do they provide exceptional care, but they also incorporate Montessori lessons tailored for each age group. Our infant, playful 3-year-old, and inquisitive 4-year-old are constantly engaged in meaningful activities that foster their independence and natural curiosity.

Karter offers the perfect blend of nurturing care and educational enrichment. Our almost 5yr old is in the kindergarten program and has already started reading, can add and subtract and genuinely enjoys learning. Ms Deana, Ms Navodi and Ms Shamli are a power team of teachers and truly inspire their students. Our 3 year started in the toddler classroom and her potty training went seamlessly with the help of her teachers’ efforts. She is now in pre-primary with Ms Dalila, Ms Farishta and Ms Saritha and we couldn’t be happier with her progress in expressing herself, building her confidence and developing social skills. Our infant started Karter at 5 months. Leaving an infant under someone else’s care can be a challenging experience for many parents. Ms Eunice, Ms Tammy, and Ms Teresa are amazing humans who genuinely enjoy caring for infants and love their babies. They are flexible in their approach and worked with us to make sure that our baby was meeting developmental milestones and that our wants/needs for our infant were being accounted for as well under their care. Truthfully, when we first started Karter, we decided to stay because of our infant’s teachers and the level of care she received. After being there for some time, I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a dynamic environment for their little ones.

The facility is smaller school compared to many daycares but we don't mind this. Our kids don’t get 'lost in the system', they know all of the teachers, have common friends and most importantly, they see their siblings throughout the day. This is not as common in the bigger schools and we really appreciate it. Even though it is smaller facility, Karter does a good job utilizing the space they have in creative ways and seems to invest regularly in making the space more impactful for the students.

Communication is great. All of our teachers are easily accessible and happy to talk to us about our children’s progress at drop off/pick up. Karter also uses an app to share daily updates about our kids, making communication with the teachers/staff even easier and more efficient during the work day. By fostering open communication and personalized support, this partnership has created an environment where our kids can thrive academically and personally.

We’ve gotten to know many of the other families/parents through school events, birthday parties, ect. The community of families is diverse and very welcoming.

Overall, our experience has been great so far. With the price of daycare being so high, Karter is definitely not the cheapest, nor the most expensive for that matter, but it has been worth the investment in our family. The staff's dedication is evident in the way our children eagerly share their daily experiences. We're always greeted with smiling faces, and the stories of new adventures and friendships are endless. As working parents with 3 kids under 5, it gives us peace of mind knowing that the kids are in a safe and in a positive environment so we can focus on what we need to during our day.

Great Montessori school, very talented and amazing teachers. My daughter has learned so much and grown in her confidence and abilities. And  the facility looks very clean and nice. And most importantly the communication between the parents and teachers is amazing throughout the day. Last but not least the leadership is great, Ms Katie and Ms Kayla are super amazing.
